A celebration on Childrens’ Day was organised for the students of Army Goodwill Public School Rajouri on 14 Nov 2019. The event was celebrated in Remembrance of First Prime Minister of India Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. A Rangoli competition was organised for the Students. Students from classes 6^th to 10^th participated in the competition. A total time of 03 hrs was given for preparing the Rangoli. All the students participated with lots of enthusiasm and josh. The event was followed by prize Distribution and an overall trophy for the best house was presented. A speech on the background of childrens’ day and its importance was given a group song by Students was also presented.

            During the celebration, Students were given opportunity to come out and express their ideas on the platform provided to them. The celebration was held at Manekshaw auditorium at Army Goodwill Public School, Rajouri.

            The event was a great success as the event created a pedestal for young minds to showcase their dreams and creativity. The event was graced by Brig Saurabh Sharma alongwith Mrs Vaishali Sharma and the members of the School Management Committee.
